SAMMAMISH MONTESSORI SCHOOL

My son is now in his second year at Sammamish Montessori School, in their primary program, and we've had a consistently great experience. The teachers and staff took the time to really get to know him and their attention to detail has made him feel understood and supported from day one. Their continued care has helped him grow socially and academically. The school has also been incredibly accommodating with scheduling, which we have been super appreciative of. Anytime we have needed some flexibility, they have been understanding and easy to work with. Our son loves the school activities - things like the book fair, art walk and dentist visit have been real highlights that he constantly talks about at home. The family field trips and end of year carnival have been a fun, thoughtfully organized way for parents to also connect in a unique setting outside of the school. Overall, it’s been a nurturing, engaging environment, and we’re grateful to be part of this community.

We sent our daughter to this school when she was 4, and we have truly loved our experience here. A special thank you to Room 6 - Miss Sundar, Miss Muldowney, and Miss Satish as well as the entire staff, for being so wonderful. Our daughter had some separation anxiety when she first started, but the team took exceptional care of her and helped her feel completely safe and comfortable. The staff is professional, diligent, and deeply committed to the children. We are so grateful for the warm, nurturing environment they created for Alina, and we highly recommend this school to any family!

The best decision we made as parents of our precious toddler was enrolling her at SMS at class 10 with Mrs Rahman, Ms Sheetal and Mrs Nayak. If you calculate the student teacher ratio- it’s close to 4:1- which is incredible. The teachers helped her transition from home care to school so quickly. They are attentive, loving, expert educators and more importantly very professional and highly passionate. She loves her teachers so much. The school admin team is amazing. Rare to see a team that does monthly events such as parrot talk or animal encounters or now- a zoo day for families. The director Kalai is very handson and you would see him and his wife(also a director )highly involved with every detail of running this institution.

We are parents of a toddler, who attends the toddler class (Room 10), and we would like to share our heartfelt appreciation for the three teachers - Mrs. Padmaja, Mrs. Sheetal, and Mrs. Rehman. All three teachers are incredibly kind, experienced, and nurturing. Mrs. Padmaja and Mrs. Sheetal played a key role in helping our kid transition smoothly into the Montessori environment, and we are truly grateful for their support during that phase. They all work very collaboratively as a team, and it shows in the positive and consistent experience the children receive. Our toddler genuinely looks forward to going to school and often asks for his teachers during drop-offs, which speaks volumes about the comfort and connection he feels with them. We have also seen wonderful developmental progress — especially in his communication skills, as he has started speaking much more since attending their class. Their guidance around the right time for toilet training was also very helpful, and he has made remarkable progress with their support. Beyond all this, they are warm, friendly, and always approachable, making it easy for us as parents to connect and stay informed. We truly feel that our kid is in very good hands, and we are very grateful for the care, patience, and dedication these teachers bring every day.

Both of my children have been part of the Sammamish Montessori School family, and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. We have always felt completely at ease knowing they are in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. My elder one has since moved on to Kindergarten, but my younger one is still happily settled in Room 10 — and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible teachers there: Mrs. Rahman, Mrs. Sheetal, and Mrs. Nayak. These three educators are truly exceptional. They know my child's likes and dislikes, make them feel right at home, and create a sense of safety and belonging that every parent hopes for. They are not just teaching the right things — they are shaping confident, happy little learners. We are so thankful for this amazing school and its dedicated staff.
