My first child went to this location 2 years ago and we were excited to bring him back. Then we toured the location and we were severely disappointed. There were light bulbs flashing that needed to be changed, very little in the way of toys and colorful decorations around, and while we were upstairs, the director’s school-age daughter was corralling the children to line up to go outside while the two teachers were chatting in another room. I was so disappointed that I went to look at another daycare the very next day. Because I had filled out the enrollment paper work, I was charged the enrollment fee and 2 weeks tuition. I tried to talk with the Seattle Children’s Academy to refund the two week’s tuition (I asked them to keep the $300 enrollment fee because they did the work of enrolling my kids), but they declined to respond. They kept the $1500 for the 2 weeks of tuition and looked the other way. Seems like stealing to me. I just want people in the area to know what kind of daycare this location has turned into and that I’m incredibly disappointed. Not only was it not fit for my children to attend but they kept $1500 for absolutely no work.
