  • I normally do not leave reviews, but I felt very disappointed with my experience trying to enroll my child at this daycare. I visited multiple times trying to get information and an enrollment packet. Each time, I was either told they did not have one available or that someone would contact me later, but despite leaving my phone number, email, and information several times, I never received a follow-up call, text, or email. Every attempt at communication was initiated by me. I was eventually told an enrollment packet would be ready for me to pick up, but when I arrived, nothing had been prepared and a teacher had to quickly make one on the spot. During my visits and conversations with staff, I was told multiple times that transportation included both pick-up and drop-off, which was a major reason I considered enrolling my child there. However, after calling again to confirm everything, I was then told they actually only provide pick-up and not drop-off because “a note was never left.” Unfortunately, the entire process felt very unorganized and unprofessional. Communication and follow-through are extremely important when families are searching for childcare, and this experience ended up wasting a significant amount of my time.   • It's clear the staff at Roots to Wings care about the whole child. They prioritize kids being able to be themselves. Kids spend lots of time playing outside or doing crafts. Staff is enthusiastic. Our 1st grader had a great time at after school care here. Bonus: They rarely close, have options for activities over break, and when Highline shut down for the cyberattack, they opened their doors for all-day care for no extra charge. They're kind people who understand the struggles of working families and genuinely love kids. Plus they take care of transportation from the elementary schools to the program.

  • My niece loves it here! Every time she comes into town to visit they welcome her in with big hugs and smiles. The teachers show her so much love. She is never ready to go when the day is over. Definitely and tell the difference.

  • Both of my kids have been going here for over 2 years and have had nothing but positive interactions. My kids have had issues with other kids, like any toddlers will and the management has been very caring and diligent to find solutions.

  • This place is like family to me. They have always taken great care of me and my kids. I love the teachers and the program director really cares about my family. The kids are always busy and doing something fun! Highly recommend!

  • We absolutely love this place and recommend it to anyone who has small kids! I adore how we get updates with pictures of how their day is going and what foods they are eating.
