  • I am absolutely impressed with this daycare. I came in with real concerns about the care my child received at a previous daycare, and let me tell you—they truly listened. During our conversations, they not only acknowledged my concerns but also explained how they would address them, which gave me immediate confidence. When the director says she has an open-door policy, she genuinely means it. My son has only been there for two days, but I already feel a huge sense of relief. I actually cried when I picked him up today because of how reassured I felt. The teachers are attentive and communicative—they shared how his day went and addressed my worries about things like crying or engagement with patience and understanding. They reassured me that his adjustment is completely normal and that they’re actively supporting him through it. To the director and the toddler teachers, thank you for your care, compassion, and professionalism. I am truly grateful—and so happy I found this daycare.

  • My son has been attending YMDA since Sept 2024. Before starting in the toddler room, he had limited vocabulary and was slow to talk. Since September, his language skills have increased astronomically, he can count up to 60, he knows all of his colors and he is learning instruction in both Spanish and English. Each day, the kids get instructional lessons, art time, outdoor play, free play…my son comes home happy and he’s thriving under the care of his teachers. As a working parent, the hours at YMDA (7am-5pm) make it possible for me to work full time and know my child is well taken care of. Thank you YMDA for your exceptional care.

  • Young Minds is so much more than just a childcare facility. My kids have been going here for 2 years now and when I tell you they have FLOURISHED here, I truly mean it. My family has gone through a lot recently and YMDA has given more support than any community organization. From the owner, to the director, to all of the teachers and staff, this place is really something special. The fact that they do school drop off and pickup for school age children in the Renton School District is also huge. Putting my kids in daycare for the first time was hard, but YMDA immediately put me at ease and have taken care of my kids like they are their own. I wouldn't trust ANYONE else with my kids. Also, the events they host for the kids are amazing! From field trips to BBQs and school dances, I've never seen another childcare facility go all out for kids the way YMDA does.

  • As a parent, finding a daycare that you trust with your children's care and development is paramount. Young Minds Development Academy in Seattle, WA, has exceeded my expectations in every way. This was the first time I sent our 2-year-old son to daycare, and the transition could not have been smoother. The staff at Young Minds made him feel incredibly comfortable from day one, fostering an environment where he is not just coping but truly flourishing. My daughter Harper has been attending Young Minds Development Academy on and off for the past five years, and her experiences have been equally positive. She raves about the friends she's made, the dedicated and caring staff, and the food - which is always a big deal for kids! The academy has become a second home to her, a place where she feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. The commitment of Young Minds Development Academy to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for children is evident in every aspect of their operation. From their thoughtful activities to the quality of their meals, it's clear that they put the well-being and development of the children first. To any parents considering daycare options in Seattle, I cannot recommend Young Minds Development Academy enough. Our experiences have been nothing short of wonderful, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the Young Minds family. A solid 10/10!

  • As a parent at YMDA I entrust my greatest blessing to the staff at YMDA everyday! To have my children come home and share their experiences and what they have learned throughout their day is the BEST feeling as a MOM to know that Ive made a great decision enrolling them in YMDA. I am grateful for the loving care and guidance my kids receive on a daily basis. I love the feeling of family & community that my kids get to experience during their time at YMDA. I know that with all of the changes and difficult times most of us are dealing with during this pandemic, my kids have been able to feel a sense or normalcy & a constant reminder that the staff are there to support them any way that they need. THANK YOU to YMDA staff for giving my kids the opportunity to experience that "Learning is FUN" at an early age. This is important as a baseline for their success as they continue their academic careers.
