This place is highly recommended. Safe place for the kids and loving nature towards the families involved. Little Steamers is a great place for kids to have fun while they learn.
Tia GipsonJul 23, 2026My daughter has been a part of Little Steamers since she was just a baby, and now she’s four. Her time there has been nothing short of exceptional. Since she started attending, her speech and vocabulary have blossomed beyond my wildest expectations. Every time I bring her to her pediatrician, they are astounded by her remarkable language skills. I appreciate the daily updates that Little Steamers sends to parents about the activities their children are engaged in. This transparency allows me to stay informed and involved in my daughter’s learning journey. Additionally, I’ve always felt heard and supported during my visits. The staff is attentive to my concerns and needs, and they’ve implemented solutions that address my requests. I don’t think I could have found a better place for her to be.
Chanel PattersonMar 17, 2026Our experience with this daycare was extremely concerning and unfortunately very short-lived. Within the first week (my child only attended four days), there were multiple safety incidents involving classroom doors that children were able to open. On the second day, I received a call that my child had opened the classroom door and exited into the hallway. Staff told me they were changing a diaper and didn’t notice right away. Thankfully he was found quickly and had only made it to the first lobby door. When I picked him up shortly after, a staff member told me he had attempted to open the door several times within about 15 minutes. I asked what I could do to help prevent this from happening again and was told there was nothing needed from me and that staff would just remain on “high alert.” I was also told that the center had discussed changing the door handles before but had not done so. A few days later, I received another call that my child had exited the classroom again while the class was cleaning up and only one teacher was present because the other teacher was on break. Earlier that same day there was also an incident where the children were outside playing and my child was able to walk to another classroom door and open it before being redirected. During the phone call about the second incident, the director stated that while they could redirect behaviors like not wanting to sit during circle time or meals, my child opening doors was “too much” for them to handle. She suggested we find another childcare provider and recommended a home daycare where there would be more one-on-one attention. This was confusing because the class only had about six students. What was frustrating is that all of the behaviors they raised concerns about were things we **fully disclosed during the tour before enrolling**. We explained that our child had never been in daycare before, does not talk yet, does not always follow verbal commands, and had recently discovered how to open doors. At the time we were reassured these were common toddler behaviors and that staff would redirect and work with him. There were also inconsistencies in the information we received. During pickup after the second incident, one teacher told me the situation happened while he was in her care, while earlier the director had told us a different teacher was responsible at the time. We were also told about an additional door incident that day but never received an incident report for it. I completely understand that teachers are responsible for supervising multiple children and cannot focus all of their attention on one child. However, when staff acknowledge that doors are not childproof and a child is able to open them multiple times within only a few days of attendance, that raises serious concerns about safety and preventative measures. Ultimately, we were advised by the director to find another childcare provider. We will be doing that and hope to find a program that is more willing to work with toddlers who are adjusting to their first daycare experience.
Antwanette KingMar 13, 2026My 2 girls have been attending LSA for a combined total of 4 years and it’s honestly been the most rewarding experience! Teachers are very interactive and my daughters consider them their friends! We are always updated daily on pictures, videos, what they eat and their daily activities! The staff there are cheerful and professional and it’s been a joy to have my girls attend! The parents in the community I have kept in touch with over the years and some of become my good friends as well! When my daughter was an infant, they allowed me time to check in and breastfeed if I needed to or just to be with her if I had time that allowed in my work day! The teachers even got my girls gifts for their birthdays and make them feel so special! My oldest is 7 now and even though she doesn’t attend anymore she loves to visit with her teachers she had and update them on her life. It has truly been a pleasure to be in this community for so long! THANK YOU LSA STAFF!
Mikaela NicholsOct 2, 2025I've been happily surprised and astounded at how well our 3yo has blossomed at Steamers. These folks have raised the bar on daycare services. We get pics & videos daily, and we communicate in real time with an app. Even my mother-in-law gets access to the daily pics. That's an incredible gift. Thank you to everyone at Little Steamers. You all ROCK!
Bonnie FranklinAug 15, 2025We have had a wonderful experience with Little STEAMers for the past 4 years. We have had kids in every classroom and are so happy with the joyful care, attention, and love provided by the staff. Our oldest was well-prepared for Kinder despite being young for his grade and our youngest is well on her way, thanks to Little STEAMers. We love how the staff seem to know all the kids, even the kids not in their class. Communication is excellent. Highly recommend!
