Really sucks that such a fun facility that offers SO MUCH for our community has some of their staff members treating guests rudely and with crass. In for one minute today picking up my son from a party and get treated like I don’t belong in the building. Blame liability but I watched a kid walk right out with no parent and had other parents telling me my kid was waiting for me on another floor. I’ll be back but it should be known how the customer service desk is treating visitors.
IvyJul 18, 2026We had a birthday party recently, the lifeguards were amazing and very attentive, the pool was a blast and the kids had lots of fun. The room however was far too small, they have a 25 people limit and we had less than half that in attendance and it was still cramped. There’s three small circle tables so with one dedicated to food there’s no where for people to sit. Considering how much they charge for the parties the rooms need to bigger.
Jennie JonesJun 7, 2026Great facility w/overall helpful staff. The area is fortunate to have been granted a Kroc Center.
Jerry RiederApr 3, 2026This is a beautiful facility with an excellent, well-stocked weight room and a fantastic pool area. The gym offers a variety of workout options, including a great elevated walking track. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially at the front desk. My review hardly does justice to this amazing Christ-centered community center; they offer everything from church, social services, and youth development to senior programming. It is inspiring to see an international ministry so dedicated to their mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human need in His name without discrimination.
Vinal LeeApr 2, 2026Omg we were in a bus accident. They took very good care of us until we were able to get back home.
Vretta Taylor (Retta)Mar 29, 2026Wouldn’t refer the Kroc to anyone. Was a member for 7+yrs. When the family and myself reached the point where we no longer were using the services we tried to cancel, but wasn’t allowed to do so by phone- so they suspended payment for 6mos. I felt blindsided 6 months later when we were billed angain and tried to explain my case with the manager and get refunded the membership fee. - I was hit with the technicality that I never came in to cancel officially. Which was one way to handle business- the other being that it is advertised as a family friendly place - was to look at how many years me and my family actually attended and all the extra programs we paid for and showed appreciation by refunding the membership fee I was asking for so we could part on good terms. Seems that $78 was worth more than good relations with long tenured member. The staff was super friendly but apparently as long as your checks keep being deposited…

- THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP holds Wisconsin licence 0000558560-007, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Brown County, licensed since 2013-08-05. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP's hours?
- The state directory lists 07:00 AM-05:00 PM, Jun-Aug. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP take?
- The licence covers 5 years to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects THE SALVATION ARMY KROC CTR CAMP's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
