  • This is one of my favorite museums in the metro area! This is a fantastic place to learn a little more about Colorado, things that have happened here, and how those things have played a role in influencing what Colorado is today. It is also very kid friendly, without being geared directly toward children. If you're interested in Colorado History, this is definitely worth a visit!

  • Interesting well-presented museum giving thought-provoking exhibits across a range of Colorado's political and ecological history. Great way to spend a hot afternoon. Café, although looking a little tired, served a good lunch at a very reasonable price. All in all, a strong recommend.

  • Fascinating to see National Documents gallery as well as rest of museum displays. Easy access and parking early.

  • This is a truly fantastic museum that has a lot of great exhibits. Honestly anybody who likes the state or just wants to learn about it should definitely visit here. And it was really cool to see the three cards of George Washington Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr side by side. I know this is a temporary exhibit, but speaks to the quality of the museum for sure.

  • Awesome seeing the original documents this GREAT country was founded on! Thank you to the National Archives and the National Archives Foundation for bringing them to Denver!

  • We had tickets for the Freedom Plane exhibit and it was amazing to see those priceless documents. We had never been to History Colorado before and enjoyed all of the exhibits. We just wish we had allowed more time, definitely worth your time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we plan to visit again.

Questions parents ask about History Colorado Center

Who can help me find child care near History Colorado Center?

History Colorado Center sits in the area covered by the Denver's Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Denver's ECC. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does History Colorado Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?

The state record does not show History Colorado Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
