About licensed daycares in Davie
Davie is in central Broward County, between Fort Lauderdale and Weston, and unusual among South Florida suburbs for the strong equestrian and rural character it has held onto. The town identity leans on the horse trails, the ranch-adjacent neighborhoods, and a Western downtown feel that coexists with the substantial Nova Southeastern University campus.
Neighborhoods include the older ranch grid on the west side, the university-adjacent developments near Nova and Broward College, and the newer subdivisions along Griffin Road. Many families here work in Fort Lauderdale healthcare, at the universities, or in the surrounding trades. The licensed provider directory includes accredited centers near the university corridor, faith-based programs, and a notable share of family day care homes tucked into the ranch-style residential streets.
