About licensed daycares in Melbourne
Melbourne is on Florida's Space Coast, in the middle of Brevard County, and the economy is closely tied to Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, and the private aerospace employers that have expanded rapidly with SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Northrop Grumman activity. Florida Tech and Health First's medical campuses add a substantial engineering and healthcare workforce.
Neighborhoods like Historic Downtown Melbourne, Eau Gallie, Suntree, and West Melbourne each have their own child care patterns. Aerospace families here often keep unusual hours around launch windows, and the licensed provider directory includes accredited centers near the tech corridor, faith-based programs across the older neighborhoods, and family day care homes throughout the residential grid.
