Questions parents ask about Eastland Christian School
Is Eastland Christian School a licensed child care provider in Florida?
- No. The Florida Department of Children and Families lists Eastland Christian School as "Exempt", which means it operates without a DCF child care licence rather than under one. Exempt providers remain on the DCF public record under record number X09OR0122, and Florida still requires background screening of their staff, but they are not licensed and are not inspected on the same schedule. Confirm current standing with DCF before enrolling.
Does Eastland Christian School offer free VPK?
- Yes. Eastland Christian School is on record with Florida DCF as a Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) provider, so eligible 4-year-olds can attend the state-funded program here at no cost. Confirm current VPK enrollment with the provider.
What are Eastland Christian School's hours?
- Weekday hours listed on its Google business profile are 7 AM–6 PM. Listings change, so call ahead to confirm.
How many children can Eastland Christian School care for?
- Eastland Christian School is licensed for up to 400 children. Licensed capacity is a legal maximum, not current availability or enrollment.
